Owners Scott and Lisa Ward lead a team of highly skilled professionals who have been mentored and trained to their most rigorous standards so that every patient receives the same outstanding quality of care.
Scott Ward, MMSP (Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy), BAppSc (Physiotherapy), APAM BAppSc (Exercise & Sports Science), SMA
Scott is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and a Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with extensive experience in private practice, including Sydney Whiplash Centre, that specialised in the treatment of spinal pain.
Scott has extensive sporting experience and is also a qualified Exercise and Sports Scientist. He currently works with Netball NSW and in the past has been a physiotherapist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, 2018 Pan Pacific Masters Games, The Sydney Half Marathon, and for NSW Country at the Junior National Football Championships.
Scott has also been a physiotherapy provider and coach on the Cricket NSW High Performance Coaching Panel for some 13 years.
He has also volunteered his time to support cyclists in the Camp Quality 1000k’s 4 Kids annual ride.
He is a passionate sports ‘nut’ with a local link, with his father a founding member of Port Stephens Yacht Squadron at Soldiers Point.
Lisa Ward, BAppSc (Physiotherapy), APAM Level 3 Professional Pilates Instructor APMA
The mother of a ‘pigeon pair’ with experience in private practice, the Pilates Method in a clinical setting, spinal, orthopaedic, medical and neurological rehabilitation, falls prevention, casting and hydrotherapy.
Lisa trained and taught the Pilates Method in a large Sydney physiotherapy centre that specialised in treating professional dance and ballet clients.
As a dancer, choreographer and teacher Lisa has a strong interest in dance and musical theatre that is continued today via her teaching and running of ‘Inspire Dance’ with a friend, teaching various forms of dance to children locally. Lisa has performed ballroom, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and irish dance with highlights including Disneyland (USA), JAPAN and the Sydney Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Lisa is a Professional Pilates Instructor, teaching the Pilates method today and also providing PrePointe Assessments and Dance rehabilitation within the clinic.
Adam McKee, BAppSc (Physiotherapy), APAM BSc
Adam has extensive experience in Private Practice, having worked since graduation in Sydney, country Victoria and on the NSW Central Coast where he owned and operated his own physiotherapy and Pilates practice for 12 years.
As a physiotherapy ‘generalist’, Adam has developed a passion for understanding the multi-factorial nature of chronic pain, implementing treatments to those suffering and assisting them to a more fulfilling life.
Over his career Adam has volunteered his time as a physio for local sporting teams on the Central Coast and given manual handling advice for volunteers at Camp Breakaway, a respite camp for adults living with disability.
With Physiotherapy being a change of career, Adam also has a science degree in biochemistry and previously worked as an IVF scientist. He loves a good discussion about skepticism, the laws of logic and epistemology. Growing up in Terrigal on the Central Coast he is a life long surfer and water sports enthusiast and hopes to exploit the amazing waterways of the Nelson Bay region (when he’s not farming!)

Rhys Bubb, BPhysio(Hons)
Rhys is a dedicated new graduate physiotherapist with a keen interest in sports, orthopaedics, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. His training at Federation University in Victoria has equipped him with diverse skills across areas such as hydrotherapy, cardiorespiratory and neurological rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
Passionate about sports and athletic performance, Rhys is an avid powerlifter and achieved a career highlight by placing third in the Junior category at the World Powerlifting World Championships in 2024. Rhys brings his love for strength training and a commitment to patient-centered care to his physiotherapy practice, helping clients to reach their goals.
Gabrielle McMann, Group Exercise Instructor
Gabs McMann is an experienced Pilates instructor, group exercise instructor, hydrotherapy instructor, aqua aerobics instructor, and personal trainer. Her Introduction to Pilates was through our practice many years ago. She was amazed to discover the power of specific stabilization in the role of core stability and how being specific in exercise instruction is important in its delivery. Her formal matwork Pilates training has been through a Physiotherapy headed company and as such Gabs is focused on teaching correct technique and educating clients on how to perform an exercise correctly and to train in a safe and sustainable way. Gabs loves helping people on their journey to a better them.
Lyndal Mislov, Receptionist
A local all her life, Lyndal has brought experience from local medical practice and the hospitality industry to create a warm, friendly and positive environment for clients and staff as a whole. Lyndal has a strong, loyal and caring nature and can’t wait to share with you her favourite joke or local story.
Lyndal enjoys surfing with her husband and working creatively in the garden, with art, on clothes and even on home renovations.
Marie Collins, Receptionist
Marie comes from secretarial background before the days of electric or digital machines!!! Making the move to Australia and into retail – eventually settling down for over eight years as Office Manager with a Northern Beaches specialty coffee roaster and wholesaler, before making the move to wonderful Port Stephens years ago. Apart from being a reasonable barista, Marie loves gardening, music and embroidery.
Cindy Braun, Receptionist
Cindy is a mother of 4 adult children, a proud nanny to 6 grandchildren and a resident in this beautiful area for the past 15 years. Cindy has a trained eye with a passion for interior decorating and property styling and a hobby for Bonsai!
Cindy was trained in reception on the old style switch board with a then known receptionist centre. In addition Cindy has really enjoyed working in the fashion sales area, always enjoying watching the trends in both fashion and interior furnishing.
Cindy has a beautiful chocolate seal point Ragdoll cat who is very much a part of her family.
